East Fort Baker

This first picture was taken because the sky was inspirational. Prior to this day, the San Francisco skies were cloudy and drab. The foreground was a former military base ( East Fort Baker) at the North end of the Golden Gate bridge. This ex-military base is home to the San Francisco Discovery Museum for children and a favorite stop for our kids. A 180 degree turn from the vantage point below would show the entrance to the museum. Trust me this was the better angle at this location. Our kids are getting to the age where children's museums will no longer be of interest to them, so we are making the best of their earlier years and stopping at sites like this whenever we can.
I accidentally shot this picture in the Tungsten white balance mode. Thanks to the fact that I became used to shooting Raw with my G2, I was able to save this picture without any problems.
