Los Pinos Lighthouse

This picture was taken in front of the Los Pinos light house on the Pacific Grove area of the Monterey Peninsula. It was getting fairly dark, and the picture is a bit overexposed, but I like it. I hope you enjoy it too. The vantage point for this picture was a small road called appropriately Ocean View that runs just in from the surf. The road was heavy with cars, joggers and walkers. I even met a nice guy who was taking this same shot with his digital camera. He said he prints them and sells the prints to galleries visited by tourists. I don't think I will give up my day job just yet. This was actually the third light house I photographed. The first two being the one on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay, and the second being at Point Bonita in the Marin Headlands just North of the Golden Gate Bridge.
