Simple Pleasures

When I woke up this morning, I stepped outside to survey the morning. Almost without noticing, I stepped over this little leaf that was oriented just right to be backlit by the low sun. What initially caught my eye was it's shadow. Before I started enjoying photography, I missed so many of these simple pleasures. Glad I stopped for this one.
