330 Feet Per Second

This shot was taken at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, CA. This was my first trip to any professional motorsports event. Noise and speed. I learned that I could pan. These things move very fast.

Real nice photo of Bazemore at Pomona. The title 330 feet per second means the car (the photo) was taken about 450 feet from the starting line. Normally on a good run a nitro funny car will be going 265 mph at half track (388+ feet per second). CH3NO2
