Shave a pixel or more from the edge of your image.
Easily remove a small number of pixels from one edge of an image.
Today I was playing around with some images from a recent vacation and after a rotation I cropped my image but found upon closer inspection a few pixels at the top that still needed removal. Not wanting to use the crop tool and alter the right/left or bottom edges of the image, I altered the canvas size by a few pixels, needed a few pixels more removed, etc., and realized if I only had an action handy to shave a few pixels, this would be a lot faster…
An image in need of a little shave off the top.
This action will allow you to shave 1, 5 or 10 pixels from any edge. If you want 7 pixels removed, shave 5, then 1 twice!
